I'll go over this week's workouts but I am becoming disenchanted with some in CrossFit community....WHAT! That's right, I said it. Don't get me wrong I still like CrossFit but the douchers that are over populating it right now are making me want to go back to the world of bicep curls and smith-machines.
My new favorites are the "experts" in form that will rip apart a video of some poor dude in his basement doing the latest CF Open WOD because they aren't technically doing a Jerk. Really? How the hell do you know? Your Olympic lifting experience is putting on your newest $80 lulu shorts, the latest inov8 shoes that you saw some "Firebreather" sporting and having a video of Annie Sakamoto on a continuous loop.
Monday: Bench 4x5 and 1 set of max reps -CrossFitters are notorious for weak chests and I am determined to stop it. Then 3x800m rows
Wednesday: CF Games Wod 11.3 - 17 rounds. I can't press that weight over my head...split jerks the entire time. I don't plan on doing this WOD again anytime soon - I need to suck less before I try it again.
Thursday: Air Squats, Pull-ups, Ring Dips - CF WOD from March 28th. 10:24rx'd Friday: "Diane"
Saturday: Five rounds for time of: Run 400 meters5 Back squats
...that smith-machine stuff was just just an idle threat...but I am seriously contemplating the bicep curls! That stuff is still legit.
