Back to a Rhythm

Wow..two post in two weeks?

I have had a little bit of down time these last couple of days - we do go through cycles out here. Sort of an ebb and flow.

So what have I been doing? Running. At least when it isn't over 100 degrees out. I've got a 3, 4 1/2 , 6 and 8 mile loops to keep me occupied.

And to think the last time I was here you would dare go outside without your Flak and Kevlar on - let alone to PT.

For the strength training I have been keeping with the CrossFit - it is the easiest to do when you don't have a real gym. And when I can't do that I've been doing this:

1) Body-weight squats x 20
2) Push-up x 25
3) Star-jumps x 20
4) Chin-ups x 10
5) Lunges x10 each leg
6) Diamond Push-ups x 20

For weeks 1-2 I did the circut two times, 2-4 I've moved up to three times. The plan is to increase to four times during weeks 4-6 and 5 times during 6-8.

everything is going well out here but I can't wait to make it back to some Aloha.

That's a great pic, Crash. Glad to hear things have settled down a bit for you, even if it's just temporary. Stay safe.

My question is most likely a stupid question, but I am going to ask it anyway. How do you follow CrossFit? Do you just go to the website, get the workout of the day and that it? As generic as that workout might be?

Thanks,

Stay safe and good luck.
